  • This is so sad to me. We are really going to miss scott hannan here in northern California. However, with the addition of ryan smyth in colorado, the avs will really have a cup contender next year. If San Jose cant do it then i am pulling for scott hannan and the avalanche.

  • It really is a shame. Buffalo had one of the most exciting teams in the NHL the last two seasons and the orginization will not be the same without Drury and Briere. Sabres fans deserve much better than this.

  • i agree with mydree. The most sucessful teams would gravatate to the best markets and secure the highest television ratings for the NBA. which is all the league really cares about anyway.

  • Sport should be about fair competition between athletes. Baseball is all about money, and the Yankees epitomize this.

  • I know they are not interested in playing fair. But a salary cap would be better for the overall health of the league. I hate how people get into a baseball conversation and ask me if I'm a yankees fan or a red sox fan (the two highest budget teams)

  • The yankees are just no fun to root for. Too much money. Too much star power. I dont really watch baseball but i might if the MLB had a salary cap and didn't allow teams like the yankees to dominate year after year.
